We all have that one in our life that we would bend over backwards for because of that crazy little thing called love cluttering our brain. We do everything from homework, to car repairs, to being the cock block for the night, & to being the shoulder they cry on when shit hits the fan.

Break.com hit a bulls-eye with this hit original song about the guy who loses all his dignity for a pretty face. I’ve discussed it before in a post about how it’s like being caught in the trap of the dreaded, ‘Friend Zone,’ as her Back-Up Boyfriend. But the several minutes it takes to watch this video, & see the despair on his face.. is more than my 700 or so words could capture. While being in the Friend Zone is sometimes a permanent problem, there are 3 steps you can take to getting yourself out of it, emotionally & sometimes physically.

The first of these is ‘Stop Being Her Lapdog’ by learning to say, ‘NO!’ Don’t run so blindly to her every whim. Take a stand & give it some space.

The second of these is to ‘Start Dating & Be Proud Of It.’ Let her know you’re seeing other people & that you are going to be less available to her needs because of it. You never know it will play out with her feelings until she sees you with another woman.

The final point to this is to grow a pair, & ‘Man Up.’ It’s not always easy, but chicks dig a man with confidence. But be sure to take it down a notch so you don’t come across to strong.
