Ever had a fugly day? You know: you wake up with a face full of zits that appeared overnight, your hair won't cooperate no matter what you do and, instead of digesting, last night's dinner re-materialized as a new tummy roll! Sometimes fugly days turn into fugly weeks (mine are usually the same week as my period). Unfortunately, most of us have obligations that restrict us from hiding under the covers until the bloating goes down. So I've compiled a list of my five favorite activities that help me feel instantly sexier (no matter what Mother Nature throws my way.)

1. Pamper Yourself

Everyone has their own favorite way to be pampered. My mother HAS to get her bi-weekly mani-pedi; My sister loves going to the make-up counter at the department store just to learn some new application tips (not to buy anything) And my best friend says there is nothing in the world that makes her feel sexier than wearing cute new panties (even if she's wearing sweats and a tee shirt on top!)

Personally, I love nothing more than a ridiculously long bubble bath. And I mean SUPER ridiculously long! I'll fill the tub with hot water, sit in it until it gets cold and refill it at least twice before I eventually climb out, wrinkly as a prune. While I'm in the tub, I'll stick a leg out of the bubbles and into the air with my toes pointed because I find the sight of my own bare, wet leg dripping with bubbles to be very arousing. As the bubbles disappear, I'll maneuver them strategically to cover my lady parts, while admiring the sight of my own naked body. For some reason, my imperfections seem small and insignificant when I'm naked in the bath tub.

2. Take Sexy Pictures

Everyone needs to do this at least once. And you don't need to be seeing someone to need sexy pictures! Honestly, I enjoy looking at seductive pictures of myself as much as I like sharing them. It makes me feel like a model...or a Playboy Bunny (although, let's be honest I look nothing like a Playboy Bunny!) Sometimes it's just nice to literally, physically, see yourself in an arousing setting. It helps you to visualize the parts of you that you like and to see that, despite your flaws, you are gorgeous!

Taking sexy pictures can sometimes be complicated. You can try to take them yourself, but it's difficult to get a variety of poses and angles unless you happen to be very good with a self-timed camera on a tripod. If you have someone very, VERY trusted - perhaps your best friend since childhood or your significant other - you can have them take the pictures for you. The best way to do it, if you have the extra cash, is to go to a photography studio that specializes in boudoir photos. Often, they'll provide a variety of settings and props, help guide you through flattering poses, and even edit the photographs to make you REALLY look like a centerfold (Bunnies get TONS of airbrushing to look the way that they do!)

3. Dance

Dancing is sexy! You wiggle your hips, you toss your hair around and all your girl parts jiggle! Dancing by yourself in your living room or locked up in the bathroom (so you can watch in the mirror) really helps you to completely let loose! When you know that no one is watching, you can be totally free to move in whatever way you feel without worrying about what people might think about it!

Also, you might want to consider taking a dance class. The more sexual the dance style the better you'll feel! I recommend mambo, salsa or - for the very adventurous - pole dancing.

Pole dancing classes are wonderful because they teach you to connect with your inner sexual being. When you're pole dancing, every single move you make is slow and sensual. You become very aware of your body and learn how to move in a way that accentuates your curves. Often, pole classes are held in intimate rooms with low lighting (for comfort) and have students of very mixed ages (you're never too old!). They are offered at many dance studios and even some gyms!

4. Flirt!

Flirt for no reason, with no actual intention behind the flirtation, just because you can! Flirt with someone younger than you or flirt with someone out of your class! If you're married, flirt with your spouse when they're least expecting it - to take you both right back to that newlywed phase when you were both madly, stupidly in love. Whomever you flirt with, wherever you flirt, flirting makes you feel good!

5. Get in Touch With Your Body...Literally!

Nothing makes you feel better about yourself than exploring your own body. Masturbation helps you to release your inhibitions - and just physically release! Slowly moving your hand over every single curve on your body allows you to truly appreciate every single inch of you! Again, you might want to try it in front of a mirror to REALLY see yourself in a sexual light (and get to know your own "O" face)!
